Do you handle agrochemical packaging waste? Are you a professional user in the agricultural sector? AgriRecover organises the collection of empty packaging and plant protection product residues, fertilisers, biocides, biostimulants and seeds.
You can take packaging with the AgriRecover logo to over 150 collection points. You can do so each year from the end of September to the end of November. AgriRecover bags can be purchased from agrochemical product distributors. If you have properly sorted the different fractions then handing these in at the collection point is free.
The rinsed packaging is recycled. For example, it is often converted into cable sheathing used primarily in the industrial construction industry. For example, 90% of such packaging is collected in Belgium and the plastic is then recycled in Germany. This is a terrific contribution to a more circular economy!
There are 150 collection points across all of Belgium, so you’re bound to find one in your neighbourhood. You can usually find these at wholesalers of agricultural and horticultural products and distributors of plant protection products. And this is where you can buy AgriRecover bags. No invitation is needed to do the collection, but do bring your barcode and/or VAT number. The next campaign will start in mid-September 2024, when we can welcome you at one of our collection points.
